At Schiphol Airport, you can park at several places, including P1 and P3. You can park anywhere, but the various P’s differ from each other.

What is P1 parking Schiphol?

Do you want to pick up a family member or friend from Schiphol Airport or do you need to get back and forth quickly for a business trip? Then you can park at P1. This parking garage is ideal for ”kiss & ride”. It is intended for visitors who want to park their car for a short time. The fact is that you can park here for a maximum of 48 hours. If you do stay longer than 48 hours, then after those 48 hours you pay €100 extra per day. So longer parking is possible, but not cheap.

The P1 parking at Schiphol Airport is a 2- to 5-minute walk from the departure hall. You can even choose to reserve a parking spot. This is not necessary because there is enough space for 3,900 cars. In addition, when making the reservation, you can choose to be brought to the terminal. Should you wish to park for longer than 48 hours, Schiphol recommends that you do so at P3. Here it is possible to park for a long time without additional costs. Previously, you could also park for a short time at P2. This parking lot has been cancelled due to the construction of a new pier and terminal. Therefore, you can now only park briefly at P1.

P1 parking is open 24/7 for people with and without reservations. It is also under the supervision of video surveillance. For electric vehicles Schiphol has installed 12 charging stations. Thus, one can choose to charge the car while they are picking up a traveler.
